Here is a video message from IEUA NSW/ACT Branch Secretary Carol Matthews about the state of play in bargaining, particularly in relation to the AIS’ most recent pay offer for teachers in independent schools in NSW.

Over the past week, you may have received several updates from your school and the IEU about bargaining for the teachers MEA in independent schools.

The fact is the union is not holding up the making of a new MEA.

We do not want to delay pay increases, but we will not agree to a substandard deal for our members.
