Alamat ng Giraffe is a comic theory on how the tallest mammal came to be. This stop-motion animation is Karilyo’s first animation production and was a finalist in Animahenasyon 2015 and MMFF New Wave 2015.

Karilyo is a student-artist group under the Office of Culture and Arts (OCA) which aspires to popularize shadowplay as a Filipino art form. Karilyo has collaborated with professional artist groups here in the Philippines, such as Tanghalang Pilipino and Anino Shadowplay Collective. The artist group conducts outreach workshops and performances for different institutions and foundations that advocate children's rights such as the Museo Pambata ng Maynila.
