Demi Lovato is on Katie Couric's daytime talk show today and while she was there to promote her new book, and talk about The X-Faxtor and her guest spot on Glee, she also shared her candid thoughts on her ole' pal Miley.
Katie brought up the topic -- and you guys, get this -- Demi not only said that Miley knows what she's doing -- but she said that the world needs to get over the fact that Mi-Cy was once Hannah Montana. Take a look:

A fair point. Demi also noted that not only is Miley an adult now, but so are the other Disney darlings that came from the same era -- herself, Selena Gomez, and the Jonas Brothers included.
Demi also noted that she thinks Miley is incredibly talented, but said that sometimes her voice is QUOTE: "shadowed by some of the things that she's doing."
Demi's episode of Katie airs today -- so make sure you tune in.... she also talks about her upcoming Neon Lights tour, and reflects on the recent loss of her father and how the tragedy has impacted her life.
