The Next Up Gauntlet is an underground artist tournament presented in a way that has never been seen before on YouTube. This year 64 artists are competing for a $500 cash prize. Each song will be voted on by our 4 judges 1-10 equaling a total score of 40. The chat will also account for a 1-5 vote through the YouTube poll equaling a total score of 5. The winner of each matchup will advance until we have a final winner. With a mix of many styles and genres, and a chance to get to know the artists through their promo videos, the next up gauntlet presents a unique experience for artists and music lovers around the world.

Rules:
Each song will be voted on by our 4 judges 1-10 equaling a total score of 40.
The chat will also account for a 1-5 vote through the YouTube poll equaling a total score of 5.
The winner of each matchup will advance until we have a final winner.

Tie Breakers:

All scores will be rounded to the nearest whole (30.5 turns to 31 & 24.3 turns to 24).
In the event of a tie by # -
#1: Another pair of songs will be played, they will be judged by exact number (no rounding)
#2: If exact numbers are equal, Judges will cast a vote on who they think should continue.
#3: If Judges tie, chat will vote on who they believe the victor to be.

1st round
May 2 - 8pm est
May 4 - 8pm est
May 5 - 8pm est
May 6 - 8pm est

2nd Round
May 11 - 8pm est
May 12 - 8pm est

3rd Round
May 18 - 8pm est
May 19 - 8pm est

Final Rounds
May 25 - 8pm est
May 26 - 8pm est
