Aluminum and Iron are the two resources that will need the most of when you want to build an outpost in Starfield. You can buy these resources from vendors however they usually do not carry the quantities you will need. You also need Adaptive Frames which are crafted from Aluminum and iron. For this reason I always build an out post on Andraphon a moon of the planet Sumati in the Narion Star System.
