Beginner COMIC MAKING TIPS: starting with a short or long comic for your first one |Comic speedpaint

In this video I discuss the beginner comic making advice or starting off by drawing a short comic rather than a really massive epic storyline, and the reasons for why professional comic artists tend to give that advice. Maybe it will be helpful for any aspiring comic artists out there, looking to start a comic of their own! My tips of course come from the perspective of a indie webcomic artists rather than a work-for-hire comic artist.

WHAT I USE TO DRAW:
For my digital art I use Clip Studio Paint for sketching, linearts and most of my coloring process, often I do some part of the coloring/painting part in Photoshop (it has some cooler brushes available that I enjoy)

I use a wacom cintic 12WX tablet for all my digital drawing needs, hooked up to a desktop computer, occasionally to my laptop. (Yes, it's a SUPER old and small screen tablet! But it still works for me after over 1000 comic pages drawn with it. )
