If you haven't seen The Chipmunk Adventure, it's a beautifully animated film from 1987 that, in my opinion is a brilliant example of using nostalgia to a positive end (not just a good product, but a positive artistic gratification). If you use nostalgia, you should also add something uniquely your own, that way the nostalgia is stronger, and the original composition has new life again. The entire movie's soundtrack does this gorgeously, and now that the movie is over 30 years old it is also relevant to my channel because as you may have noticed, taking nostalgia and bringing new life to the source material is something I constantly try to do in nearly every video I make.
