Think of a transparent plastic disc as 1 and draw a shaded part with a colored pencil to indicate one or more of them.

2. Compare the size of the fraction
For example: compare the size of 1/4 and 1/3. On a circle of four equal parts, draw a shadow of 1/4 with a colored pencil, and then draw a shadow of 1/3 with a colored pen on a circle of three equal parts, and then put the two circles together. Thus 1/4 smaller than 1/3

3. Simple addition and subtraction of the same denominator fraction
For example: 1/5+2/5. Draw a five-divided circle with a colored pencil to represent a 1/5 shadow, then divide a transparent circle into five equal parts, draw a 2/5 shadow with a colored pencil, and overlap the two circles to get 1/ 5+2/5=3/5.
