Join the Unexplained Cases team as we travel to the City of Brotherly Love to investigate some of Philly’s most haunted locations — beginning with the iconic Mummers Museum!

While most cities host traditional parades with floats and marching bands, Philadelphia does things a bit differently. Every New Year’s Day, thousands gather for the wild and colorful Mummers Parade — a tradition dating back to 1901 with roots in the old Mummers Play from Britain and Ireland.

At the Mummers Museum, you can explore the history, pageantry, and eccentric costumes from over a century of parades. But beneath the feathers and sequins, staff members say something else lurks…something paranormal. Disembodied voices. Eerie footsteps. Shadow figures. Could the spirits of past performers still be dancing through the halls?

With special access to the haunted third floor — a space normally off-limits to the public — we were guided by the incredible Donna from Philly Ghost Hunt, who’s no stranger to this active location. What we encountered left us stunned.

From Revolutionary War spirits to eccentric costumed apparitions — and maybe even a phantom pirate — this is one paranormal investigation you won’t want to miss!
