Discover Ayla Café, a serene sanctuary in the heart of Gampaha, where architecture meets mindfulness. This 2,500 sqft renovation project transforms an existing structure into a calm, nature-connected space — redefining how design can nurture well-being and sustainability.

Designed by KAID Architects, the café embraces minimal intervention and tropical warmth through the use of timber, stone, and muted earthy tones. Large windows, skylights, and lush greenery seamlessly blur the boundaries between indoors and outdoors, creating a sensory retreat filled with light, texture, and tranquility.

The signature green archway façade, paired with soft cement finishes, gives Ayla Café its distinct identity — modern yet organic, warm yet refreshing. Inside, layered lighting, acoustic balance, and locally handcrafted finishes bring comfort and authenticity to every corner.

From energy-efficient systems to sustainable materials, every design choice reflects a deep respect for nature and context — a true example of how architecture can offer respite through design.
