Here's another in a long list of "but WHY" routines. I have soooo many books and phones (and probably Palm Pilots) filled with ideas labelled "STUPID", that I wanted to get them out for fear that nobody but I would know how close The Spice Girls could come to being Northern Soul favourites.
"Do I Love You (Indeed I Do)" by Frank Wilson is possibly the scarcest and therefore most sought-after bits of wax in the Northern Soul scene. It was recorded in 1965 by Frank Wilson who would later decide to focus on producing and songwriting. Because of the shift in focus, the approximately 250 copies of the 45 were destroyed...well almost all of them. Between 2 and 5 copies supposedly exist, so forgive me if I didn't play mine. I don't have the over 25, 000 British Pounds it was sold for in 2009. I then combine it with the Spice Girls' monster hit (reaching #2 in the UK) that was clearly inspired by the Motown/Tamla/Soul label that Frank Wilson was part of.

"Hey...should I put this 90s hit with this Northern Soul gem??" This is the kind of stuff I think about at 3am when I should be sleeping. Help us all...I present more STUPID!
