This is a video response to "Whedon On Romney" combining some of Joss' clever words with a parody of The Cranberries' "Zombie" that I coincidentally happened to be working on right before WOR came out.
(Please note that our recording equipment and production experience are cheap, minimal and that we rushed this, as timeliness is a factor. I hope to have picture attributions up soon.)
Here are the parody lyrics:
Zomney (parody of The Cranberries' "Zombie" by D. O'Riordan)
An Irish Setter's lonely,
Strapped atop a Chevy.
That confession makes me question,
Who are you, Mitt Romney?
With your plea: "Vote for me and my large family!"
In your head, Thoroughbred, you are fighting,
With your steeds, bayonets,
And ten-thousand buck bets.
So much debt, slash the Fed, Big Bird's crying...
In that head, well-coiffed head,
Romney, Romney, Romney,
Hey, hey, hey. What's in your head,
living dead,
Zomney, Zomney, Zomney?
Hey, hey, hey, hey, oh, dou, dou, dou, dou, dou...
You said that forty-seven
Percent do not matter.
And that blunder makes me wonder,
Are you the Mad Hatter?
It's the same old meme since sixteen-sixty.
In the end, in your head you're still fighting,
With your steeds and your swords,
Fending off female hordes.
In your head, as you said, they're in binders...
In your head, Bobblehead,
Romney, Romney, Romney,
Hey, hey, hey. Are you undead,
On brains fed,
Zomney, Zomney, Zomney?
Hey, hey, hey, hey, oh, oh, oh,
Oh, oh, oh, oh, hey, oh, ya, ya-a...
