TRANSPIRATION -
transpiration is the loss of water vapour from the aerial part ( leaves) of the plant.

AIM OF THE EXPERIMENT

TO evaluate the transpiration in the plant.

MATERIAL REQUIRED
______________________
Two pots, a plant, plastic sheets.

PROCEDURE
_____________
Take two small pots of approximately the same size and having the same amount of soil.
*one should have a plant in it.
*Cover both pots with a plastic sheet so the moisture cannot escape by evaporation.
*place both the pots in bright sunlight for half an hour.

OBSERVATION
_______________
We observe that some water droplets appears on the plastic sheet of the pot having plants but not to the pot haven't plant.

CONCLUSION
_______________
From the above experiment we can prove that transpiration occurs in plants.
