The Fire Guardians

When the fire in Jack Russell’s Pub was still a young flame, and the forest was only beginning to learn how to listen, three puppies appeared. They did not arrive by chance — the fire had called them.

They were named:

Cirilla — the smallest of the three, her eyes always fixed on the flame. She was the first to hear the rhythm hidden in the crackling wood.

Stregobor — alert and unyielding, his heart beating like the drum of the earth. He guarded the fire while others slept.

Luna — quiet and attentive, able to hear melodies where others heard only the wind moving through the trees.

Jack welcomed them without a word. He knew who they were.

From that day on, the legends of the forest called them THE FIRE GUARDIANS — keepers of the fire that would never go out.

They grew up by the flames, night after night, listening to stories that shaped fate. In time, they began to answer those stories with sound — first clumsily, then with purpose. Their music was not learned. It was the memory of the forest.

When Cirilla led the melody, Stregobor gave it weight and pulse, and Luna wove everything into a whole. The forest responded: trees leaned closer, animals fell silent, and time itself slowed.

It was said that their sounds could restore courage to those who had lost it, remind travellers who they were before the darkness came, and open paths for those caught between decisions.

They did not play for everyone. Only for the called. Each performance lasted exactly as long as it needed to — sometimes a single night, sometimes a lifetime. When the last guest disappeared among the trees, the music faded, and the Pub merged back into the forest.

Yet they did not leave with the silence. They remained as guardians of the flame.
For as long as darkness exists, THE FIRE GUARDIANS will play.
