How to remove a seized RV anode rod

I have a Suburban RV water heater with a frozen anode rod. This was rusted on and seized due to years of neglet. I'll show you how I finally got it loose.

The anode rod must be periodically changed so that your water heater tanks does not corrode. The rod is a sacrificial element designed to corrode before the tank does.
