That's right. We can pray. But, there are some things we should know for sure. The prayers of Christians, at least the prayers of God's people who serve Almighty God as their King, the prayers of God's children who have the perfect God as their Father, must be different from the prayers of other religions. One of the reasons we cling to prayer is because we dedicate ourselves to prayer as we are anxious. It is because we don't believe God is God. It is because we do not know the God who is with us even before we pray. It is because we don't know who God is. Faith in God comes from the right knowledge of God. That is why faith is revealed through the perfect love of God.
If, you are praying to God and in your heart, you think that only if I pray earnestly and repeatedly, ‘God will listen to me better’, and if you pray with the heart that God will act only when you impress God with the utmost sincerity because God does not know your needs and desires of your heart and does not care about you, then that is not the correct biblical point of view.
