Mayavathi's falls prey to her own ploy as Varsha rebukes her for asking the Desais to end Abhishek-Varsha's marriage and for demanding five crore rupees as alimony. Amrutha plants a kiss on Arjun's cheek. They feel embarrassed as Amrutha's lipstick mark on Arjun's cheek gets spotted by everybody.

The story walks through the happenings in Desai family. It is a traditional business family, headed by strict and stubborn Urmila Devi. Varsha and Amrutha, the two daughter in laws of Desai family, differs in personality. Amrutha is a lovable, innocent girl, who is the favorite daughter in law of Urmila, while Varsha is very selfish and rude. Arjun, Amrutha’s husband behaves like he has no love towards her. However, there is love and care inside the heart of Arjun, which is yet to come out in the open.
