Sheikh Bilal Khan is a leading figure in the global Islamic finance industry and the recipient of multiple industry awards including the first Islamic Scholar to be recognized as a Freeman of the City of London. He is both an English qualified lawyer from a 'Magic Circle' law firm and a renowned Shariah Scholar.

A bit more about Sheikh Bilal Khan:
Sheikh Bilal is Co-Chairman and Partner at Dome Advisory. He is also a member of the Advisory Board of the Middle East Association as Special Adviser to the Chairman and CEO (http://the-mea.co.uk/about/key-people),
He is the recipient of multiple industry awards and recognitions including being a Freeman of the City of London. He was invited to feature in the television series ‘Secrets of Success’ as part of 20 London-based personalities (   • Secrets of Success Vol 2  ) which is now showing on British Airways Inflight (tinyurl.com/htqc7gg). In his government business ambassadorial role as UK Government Department for International Trade (DIT) Catalyst and Adviser to the City of London Corporation, Sheikh Bilal is promoting UK excellence internationally and the City of London in particular as a leading Islamic finance hub. He serves as Senior Adviser to the Co-Chairman of both the All Party Parliamentary Group (APPG) for Islamic Finance and the APPG for Kazakhstan and is working in close collaboration with the DIT, the British Foreign Office and The City of London Corporation as well as delivering executive training programs for governments and private sector in the UK and across the globe.
Sheikh Bilal is also Vice Chairman of the International Panel of Mosaic (The Prince's Charities) which conducts the International Leadership Program for young leaders from 80 countries (http://www.mosaicnetwork.co.uk/about/...) in addition to acting as Judge for both the DIT Sirius Programme for graduate entrepreneurs around the world and for the UK Asian Apprenticeship Awards. In terms of profession, Sheikh Bilal stated his background to Safaraz as an English qualified lawyer from the ‘Magic Circle’ law firm Linklaters however he is also and an award-winning Shari'ah Scholar (http://www.linklaters.com/News/Latest...) with several qualifications from British Universities including B.A. and M.A. (Arabic & Islamic Studies), LL.B (Law), M.A. (Islamic Finance) and MBA.
