I know content creators aren't supposed to play the same deck all the time. It makes sense. I really like my CATS deck and will probably go back to it.
My goal for this season was Diamond and I figured you folks probably didn't want to watch me grind all the way there with the same deck nor did I want the distraction. Voilà I made this INSANE new Simic Mutate deck. Seriously People. This deck is so fast. Taking advantage of all the creatures that add +1/+1 counters when you mutate, Mysterious Egg, Essence Symbiote, Glowstone Recluse, your creature gets huge fast. Gemrazer is a beast of a card that brings Trample AND Reach, will put the hurt on in a hurry with a side of blowing up your opponents artifact/enchantment plan. Pouncing Shoreshark will bounce any creature that's not hexproof which is handy for those pesky deathtouch blockers. Get a bunch of creatures all mutated together and add an Auspicious Starrix to make your board Explode with more creatures. Do not overlook that Starrix is a 6/6 for five mana with zero downside. PS there were at least two major punts where the correct play was to mutate both Sea-Dasher Octopus instead of what I did mutate. Sea-Dasher is cheap to mutate and sometimes doing that twice instead of something else once will win you the game.
