This pattern was created by Paul Davison, it is not the best looking fly you are likely to see but it may well be one of the most effective. The fly was a closely guarded secret of the competition circuit for some time, nothing stays secret for long though. This is a must have pattern if you are serious about competing. Its not a very difficult pattern to tie as you can see from the photo when its complete it is just a hot mess. The trout love this fly and it works particularly well on stocked fish.
