Can I actually beat a Pokemon hardcore nuzlocke without ever attacking?

Modified Nuzlocke Rules:
1. If a Pokemon faints it is considered dead and cannot be used
2. I'm allowing myself 5 rerolls per route to target Pokemon with decent status moves. No species clause.
3. I must nickname Pokémon

Hardcore Nuzlocke Ruleset:
4. No items in battle (aside from held items)
5. No leveling past the next gym leader/E4's ace (at the START of the battle)
6. Play on "Set" battle mode
