Welcome To Santa Fe, New Mexico's Historic Plaza Where We Visit Two Enchanted Locations That Are Rich In New Mexico History!

First We Dine At The Plaza Cafe! The Plaza Cafe is the oldest restaurant in Santa Fe, which has been warmly welcoming and serving guests since 1905, amazing authentic traditional dishes of New Mexico along with some family Greek Recipes! We enjoy the Blue Corn Pinon Pancake With Orange Butter and Cinnamon Syrup, Sopaipillas with Honey & Butter...and MORE simply scrumptious entree creations! We LOVED it all!

For Fun...we then hop on a “quick” pedicab to head next door “The Santa Fe Plaza Way”!

Next We Visit Ortega’s On The Plaza! Ortega’s On The Plaza Is The Oldest Jewelry Store On Santa Fe’s Historic Plaza. Janelle Ortega graciously welcomes us and shares with us her family history of buying and selling Native American crafts since 1871! Janelle gives us an extraordinary tour of the dazzling display of Jewelry showcased at her beautiful historic store! Starr tries on a few of these amazing pieces of jewerly, including an exquisite Vintage Zuni Turquoise and Sterling Silver Cuff that she finds out after sells for $6,250.00! It is Ahhhmazing! We learn about the works of the artists and the vintage jewelry available at the enchanted Ortega’s On The Plaza! We LOVED all of the beautiful jewelry creations!
