1973 में रिलीज हुई फिल्म धर्मा का मुख्य आकर्षण था मोहम्मद रफी और आशा भोसले की सुपरहिट कव्वाली। इस कव्वाली में अभिनेता प्राण का खूंखार अवतार और मशहूर एक्ट्रेस बिंदू का जाना पहचाना सेक्सी-शातिर महिला के रोल का मुकाबला है। इसमें आशा भोंसले की नशीली आवाज के आगे संगीतकार सोनिक ओमी को रफी सहब की गायकी हल्की नजर आ रही थी। ऐसे में संगीतकार जोड़ी को भरोसा दिलाने के लिए मोहम्मद रफी ने एक ऐसा कदम उठाया कि संगीतकार उनके फन के साथ साथ उनकी दरियादिली के भी मुरीद हो गए।
