Since 2012 it is possible to travel through Myanmar (former Burma) with your own motorcycle. However, you need a guide. We had an amazing guide from osugamyanmartravels.com. During our 6 day trip through Myanmar sometimes we rode on our own and sometimes we travelled together with other motorbikers:
