Counting Indian money

I have only 3 purposes to teach the concept of numbers to Aakash.

1. Calendar
2. To understand the concept of time
3. Concept of Money

So far Aakash could do addition, subtraction, multiplication and not division. With these basics Aakash has come to the level of counting money. Slowly have to progress to the next stage of practical usage of money.

One input I have is if we keep the goals more realistic and simple, learning and teaching both could be simple. Keeping Aakash’s level in mind, if I go beyond the basic concepts of mathematics, I feel it may not help and also make it more complex for Aakash to learn.
