The Vaer R1 Oceanracer is an affordable throwback chronograph.

Vaer has just dropped a new line of R1 chronographs consisting of a few different versions, all with the same retro look. This R1 Oceanracer Chronograph uses the Vaer dive case and a Mechaquartz chronograph movement to bring these vintage-inspired timepieces to life. These are assembled in the USA and have screw-down crowns and sapphire crystals. This model comes in two sizes (42 and 38mm) and two different dial colors, for $399.
