My primary aim when tutoring is to understand the individual needs and skills of each student I work with, and tailor each lesson to suit these. I believe learning should be a fun experience, and my approach is grounded in discussion and play, offering a different way of understanding concepts than those which may have been delivered in the classroom.

I have a dual passion in life, with an academic grounding in the sciences and a huge amount of work experience in the theatre and the arts. I feel that the arts and the sciences are not, and should not be considered as, distinctly different subjects, and I will often draw on examples from both areas in order to inspire students by allowing different perspectives to be seen.
