Preparing For And Riding Out Hurricane Ian At Home

Last week over the course of several days, Hurricane Ian passed through Central Florida, impacting as a category 4 storm with winds around 155mph. Due to the unpredictable nature of storms, Brennan and I began preparing several days in advance, with tentative awareness to the status a levity of the situation. This video encompasses a few days of our experience, from our home and resource preparation to experiencing the storm and how we spent our time with the hospitality closures in Orlando that permitted us to ride out the storm at home. After ensuring the storm had passed, we continued a tradition with a quick visit to Disney's Wilderness Lodge, and decided to conclude our experience after not losing power or water and having minimal wind and water damage.
