Today's daily bible reading comes from the book of Isaiah chapters 34, 35, & 36. Here are some takeaways:

Chapter 34) A judgment on all of the nations especially Edom

Chapter 35) Amazing Messianic prophecy (a foretelling of Jesus the Messiah) that promises hope and salvation.
v4: "...behold your God will come with vengeance with the recompence of God. He will come and save you.” (Jesus is called God who will come and save you)
Miraculous healings: eyes of the blind opened, ears of the deaf unstopped, lame men leaping like deer, mute singing for joy... (All miracles we read about in the book of Mark)
v8: The Way of Holiness - Jesus said "I AM the Way...)
Promise of eternity/everlasting joy without sorrow or sighing.

Chapter 36) Storytime! A realtime telling of the events when the king of Assyria sent his commanders to take Jerusalem and conquer Judah. You'll really dislike the arrogance of Assyria... Leaves us with a cliffhanger though so you'll have to tune into tomorrow reading as 36-39 are one story together.
