LOGIC PRO X - Sample Alchemy

This week, I’m taking a second look at Sample Alchemy, after my first exploration of it during the 100th Episode Live video.

This plug-in is a complete gem if, like me, you want to take a walk with those two excellent friends named surprise and unpredictability. I’m going to start by porting a synth sequence sound before showing you Sample Alchemy’s playback Modes, its Granular Synthesis parameters and how to introduce Motion, to bring movement to your sounds. I’ll take a look at the Amp Envelope and how it pairs so nicely with Arp Mode, before seeing how, sometimes, sonic experimentations will require some re-pitching, depending on where a sound has disappeared off to.
