Welcome to Day 7 of our Alaskan Disney Cruise! Join my family and I on our 7-Night Alaskan Cruise from Vancouver on the Disney Wonder! Thank you so much for watching!
You join us on Sunday, September 18, 2022, for a day at sea! During the night, we lost an hour traveling from Alaska back to Vancouver and our phone clocks did not change. So, we overslept slightly and were running late to the Royal Gathering Princess Meet and Greet. We snatched a quick breakfast at Cabanas for the last time. Then, Liz and I headed down to the Lobby Atrium on Deck 3 for the Royal Gathering Princess Meet and Greet. We met and chatted with Princess Cinderella, Princess Ariel, Princess Tiana, and Princess Rapunzel while a talented pianist serenaded us with classic Disney tunes.
Next, we relaxed in our staterooms and watched the water and scenery float by. I galavanted around the ship for a couple hours taking pictures of everything on the Disney Wonder. I also managed to see a glimpse of the character dance party happening in the Lobby Atrium. I met Mom, who was cross stitching, and Liz, who was reading, on Deck 9 for some lunch. We all grabbed our favorite bites from Cabanas, including some once-a-cruise sushi. After lunch, Liz and I attended a Towel Folding class in D Lounge. Her elephant turned out pretty good and my monkey was monkeying!
Since we had yet to enjoy any of the pools, hot tubs, or waterslide the Disney Wonder had to offer, I convinced Liz and Mom to come with me for some relaxation and swimming on Deck 9. We hit the hot tub next to Goofy's Pool, the Quiet Cove Adult Pool, and the Twist 'n' Spout waterslide, which was very fun and I would highly recommend.
Over in Azure, Liz, Dad, and I played Bingo for the very first time on a Disney Cruise. While waiting for Bingo to start, I scrolled through the rest of the day's activities and the night's dinner menu at Triton's. Even though we were very close to winning some rounds, we sadly did not win any Bingo games.
After Bingo, I packed about half of my suitcase before making my way down to the Walt Disney Theatre for the cruise's final show called Disney Dreams: An Enchanted Classic. After the show, I finished packing and snacked on a leftover Mickey Waffle from breakfast and some room service. We ordered a grilled cheese, tomato soup, and some Mickey ice cream bars, which we all enjoyed while viewing a gorgeous sunset on the verandah.
Our last dinner of the cruise was at Triton's. After a delicious meal, we were surprised with a birthday dessert and a "Happy Birthday" song for Liz's birthday later in the month. We met Captain Mickey on Deck 4 and headed over to Shutters to purchase the pictures from our cruise. For one last time, we checked Crown & Fin Pub for some late night snacks.
Back in our stateroom, we filled out the comment cards and watched a little bit of TV before going to sleep for the last time on the cruise!
