Trains In The Snow. 6 Trains In Glendale & Wyoming, Ohio. Radar Speed Check On 1 Train In Glendale. Union Pacific Locomotives On Norfolk Southern Trains. CSX owns the track and shares it with Norfolk Southern and Amtrak. A weather advisory was issued for this area with 6-8 inches of snow. There was more snow here than at my house so I headed over this way to film trains since it was the area that was hit the hardest. The first train went over rails that had a snow cover over them. This video has 6 trains and a high rail truck. 5 of the trains are in Glendale and 1 is in Wyoming, Ohio. I did a radar speed check on one of the CSX trains in Glendale.
When I first got to Glendale the roads were just getting plowed and the Railfan parking lot had not touched. After I filmed a couple of trains in Glendale a truck came to the parking lot and started plowing it so I left for a short time to go south about 3 miles to the park in Wyoming to film a train. It took an hour to get a train there and then I returned to Glendale to film some more.
We see my radio up close while the defect detector is going off on 160.230 and we learn some interesting facts about Glendale. I did some train spotting for 5 hours and got 6 trains. That was actually pretty good. On the long drive home I listened to the football game between the Bengals and the Bills. The Bengals won in Buffalo, New York by a score of 27 to 10.
