This is my first full song featured in Friday Night Funkin' which I am super excited about! I worked together with Kawai Sprite, who provided great vocals for the track and made it even more hype than it was before.

Our inspiration for this song goes back to oldschool Playstation 1 and SEGA era fighting games, with cool instrumental / lofi hiphop themed beats, coupled with edgy 90s style rap vocals. We tried to capture a cool and laidback vibe that also draws from the vibes of 90s action movies, combined with an arcade-type results screen mood.

This project gave me another opportunity to showcase my passion for replicating the moods of the past. While it doesnt precisely match the vibes of oldschool hiphop, I think we made a fresh take on the sound thats delightfully arcade / videogame and playfully goofy sounding, matching the spirit and energy of Pico.
