These loaded cheese fries on the griddle might be my new favorite appetizers to make on the Pit Boss, Blackstone, or Camp Chef flat top grill! We used a bag of frozen french fries and canned nacho cheese sauce to keep this griddle fries with cheese recipe super easy, so you can make these awesome flat top grill french fries at your tailgate or at the camp site.

Watch as I show you how I made frozen French fries on the griddle, and pay attention to the tips that I give you to help prevent warping… be sure that you lay your bag of frozen fries out on the counter for about 20 minutes before adding them to the griddle, and make sure your flat top grill or griddle isn’t too hot when you add the fries. It’s better to have it just a bit cooler and then heat the fries and the griddle surface at the same time. Also, be sure to add a few fries to the griddle at a time, instead of just dumping the whole bag out at once.

And can we talk about the seasoning that we used for these loaded cheese fries with bacon? The combination of the Pit Boss Nashville Hot Rub and the Hidden Valley ranch dry seasoning was fantastic! Use that seasoning mix to season your fries immediately after they come off the griddle so that all of the seasoning sticks to the hot oil of the french fries.
