Udayeshwara Temple is a famous Hindu Temple. This temple is also known as  Neelkantheshwara temple is a 11th-century Lord Shiva temple located in village Udaipur of Tehsil Basoda. The temple was built by Udayeshvar, brother of Parmar King Bhoj. It is a beautiful example of Indian architecture which resembles Bhojpur temple and Mahamaya temple.

It is one of the most prominent Hindu shrines in the region. The inscriptions found in this temple suggest that the Udaipur Town was founded by the Parmara King Udayaditya during the 11th century A.D.  Other inscriptions found at the temple suggest that Parmara King Udayaditya construed this temple and dedicated it to Lord Shiva.
