Tony Randall was an American actor, producer, and director who had a long and successful career in film, television, and theater. He was born on February 26, 1920, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, and began his acting career on stage in the 1940s. Randall's breakout role came in 1951 when he played the role of Sidney Bruhl in the Broadway production of "Deathtrap." He went on to star in numerous plays, films, and television shows, including the popular sitcom "The Odd Couple," in which he played the neat-freak Felix Unger opposite Jack Klugman's messy Oscar Madison. Randall was known for his impeccable comedic timing, versatility as an actor, and his distinctive voice. He passed away on May 17, 2004, at the age of 84, leaving behind a legacy as one of the most beloved and talented actors of his generation.
