3 Reasons Not To Buy | KTM 250 Duke FAQ #3

Описание к видео 3 Reasons Not To Buy | KTM 250 Duke FAQ #3

The KTM 250 Duke is firmly a learner or new rider's motorcycle. Advanced riders or people stretching their budgets should not get one. Three things to think about. First, value for money. We remind you that you cannot actually ride value for money. And that it ends the moment you're out of the showroom on your new motorcycle. But still, not that the Dukes are inexpensive, but despite only a modest rise in price, the 250 Duke is an expensive purchase. A good purchase, but expensive for sure. We'll discuss this in more detail in the last four videos in this FAQ when we bring up its rivals. Second, we said this for the Speed 400 too and it applies to the 250 Duke too. Because it's so sweet and calm, it can also feel a lot less entertaining than the other Dukes. This is good for new riders to have mental space to learn with, but can become uninteresting for intermediate or advanced riders as well, especially over time. The longer you plan to keep the 250 Duke, the more this is important to think about. Third, this apples to the 390 Duke as well -- space. The seat is not very gracious front-to-back and if you're a large rider, in height or girth, you should establish that you have enough room to move around on the bike before you commit.
