I bought an inexpensive Thomas and Friends train set from Amazon.com so that I could see what $70 gets you in the Lionel world. $70 wouldn't go very far in the expensive world of LGB G-scale trains that I normally play in!

In this video, I unbox the trains and show you exactly what's included... which is Thomas, Annie, Clarabel, a remote control, enough track to make an oval or a circle around your Christmas tree, and a couple of additional faceplates that give Thomas different facial expression as he travels down the track.

This set works well, features some fun built-in sound effect, and is only slightly smaller than the very expensive G-scale Thomas & Friends trains that I already have in my train collection.

This is a fun train set that I think a lot of kids would enjoy for Christmas or their birthday. So, I hope parents will find this video... I made it just for them.
