With an increase in demand for supervised round the clock residential support for seniors, SRCF has started a 24 hours Old Age Home and Assisted Living Facility - 'Akanksha' in Baner, Pune.

'Akanksha' which means aspiration is our endeavor to provide seniors with a comfortable alternative to living at home when they are unable to manage on their own. We have strived to maintain the seniors’ privacy, dignity, choice, and social connectedness.

Providing a continuum of care to seniors, Akanksha supports independent elders looking for a supportive environment to enjoy their retired lives; seniors requiring assistance with their activities of daily living; and individuals requiring a higher level of medical support than may be possible to provide at home.

Located less than 2 km from the Mumbai and Bangalore Highways in Baner, Akanksha is housed in an independent building with three floors and a lift. The facility has ample space for activities and light exercises both indoors and outdoors. All our rooms provide a comfortable stay and the entire facility has been made senior citizen friendly.

Our staff comprises in-house Doctor, Physiotherapist, Occupational Therapist, Psychologist, Nurse and Medical attendants who look after the medical, physical, social and emotional needs of the seniors, in a warm and comfortable environment.

The facility provides all amenities including Housekeeping services, Laundry services, Meals, 24 x 7 Security via CCTV in common areas, Individual call-bell service, including TV and Wi-Fi services.
