Brown trout fly fishing in small streams is exciting. Hunting brown trout is a game of poking about the likely holding water in a trout stream, looking for a rising brown trout, spotting the brown trout or prospecting. Stalking rising and cruising brown trout takes on a whole new level of fly fishing in trout streams and in this video, the first episode of season 2 of our As It Happens series, we join Ashley & Amber at Maruia Motels in New Zealand. A chance meeting led to us fishing together on several streams near their motel. This is the first of 4 days together and we had to apply some advanced small stream tactics in order to be successful.
