Life is as good as we make it wherever we are. Sometimes dreams do not exactly meet up reality and it is ok. Trying the things you want to do and sometimes failing is always better than not trying at all. Having said that, we consider our retirement plan a success but modifying it to better suit our needs at the present time. Self health insuring yourself for unforeseen mild illnesses here in the Philippines can be done but it is not, and never a good idea not to have a health insurance from your country of origin esp. in retirement years.
