On Monday, August 14th 2017, TajRupt's inaugural "Innovation Incubator" team presented its report on the topic of: "Reforming Higher Education in Tajikistan: Challenges, Opportunities & The Road Ahead." The project was led by our founder & chairman Azizjon Azimi (Harvard University) and included team members Ganjina Oripova (New York University Abu Dhabi), Baroat Mirsadikova (Moscow State Institute of International Relations), Azizakhon Yuldasheva (KIMEP University), Malika Musaeva (Tajik State University of Commerce), and Aminjon Tursunov (Khujand Branch of Technological University of Tajikistan).

Structured as a consulting project, "Innovation Incubator" is one of five courses offered at our Extracurricular Resource Center (ERC) in Khujand. The incubator's mission is to research, analyze, and recommend substantive reforms for Tajikistan's educational system. The course is open to university-level students. Participants of the inaugural batch were selected through a competitive application and interview process, and were involved in intensive month-long activities that ranged from data analytics and best practices research, to conducting interviews and formulating proposals.
