LIVE: Members of U.S. Naval Academy's first year class test their ingenuity, perseverance and ability to work together as they attempt to scale a granite obelisk coated with a thick layer of vegetable shortening. The name of the event is the Herndon Monument Climb. The goal is for the Naval Class to make it to the top of the Monument and place a naval hat at the top of it, replacing last years class while also attempting the beat the class's time.
