Today, over 100,000 people travel to Antarctica each year, with many making actual landings to step foot on the continent — a remarkable experience given how few people have ever stood on this frozen frontier. In fact, less than 200,000 people in all of history are estimated to have ever visited Antarctica, including explorers, scientists, support personnel, whalers, and tourists alike. 

This video captures the unforgettable highlights of our expedition to Antarctica — a once-in-a-lifetime journey filled with awe, adventure, and pure wonder.

From towering glaciers and glowing blue icebergs to whales surfacing beside our ship, playful seals, and more penguins than we could ever count, every moment felt surreal. We explored both continental Antarctica and its surrounding islands by zodiac, weaving through ice-filled waters and stepping onto some of the most remote landscapes on Earth.

One of the most memorable adventures was climbing to the top of Small Mountain, rewarding us with breathtaking views of the Antarctic wilderness. We also made a very special stop at Port Lockroy, home to the southernmost post office in the world, where I mailed a postcard to my daughter — a moment I’ll treasure forever.

As if that wasn’t magical enough, we welcomed New Year’s Eve 2025 / New Year’s Day 2026 in Paradise Bay, surrounded by the icy beauty of the South Shetland Islands, and kicked off the new year with an exhilarating Antarctic polar plunge 🥶❄️
