The Rhine-Waal University of Applied Sciences is one of our many R&D partners. Within this collaboration, we support students with practice-oriented projects during their studies or as a part of their final theses. One of their master students, Karthik Saliyan, is working on a new method to measure residence time of an HDPE polymer in a twin-screw extruder. His idea is to use the rise of the pressure at the outlet of the extruder at different screw speed levels as the crucial parameter for residence time measurement.
