Mike Luoma heads into Arms Forest in Burlington, Vermont, and discovers interesting stone work lurking beneath the snow. An old quarry, two unique stone features, an impressive boulder arrangement, and a possible "direction" stone all greet Mike in his first experience of Arms Forest. Though Vermont's winter snow cover certainly keeps some secrets, Mike makes enough curious and fascinating finds to fill his afternoon and over forty minutes of footage.

This site is up and across from the Donahue Sea Cave, which Mike explored in two earlier videos (available here on YouTube). Not knowing what to expect across the street and North End plateau, he wandered into the forest, walking and looking around. As it turned into a beautiful, sunny winter afternoon, some stones called out despite the snow cover.

This episode's footage was shot by Mike on an iPhone 8, and he produced and edited it on his PC laptop (sorry about the little glitches). He wrote and narrated the script & took care of the sound production (on the PC), too. A true DIY'er, the only thing Mike isn't responsible for here is composing the music (though he does arrange and mix it in the context of the video) - the music is by Kevin MacLeod. He allows independent creators to use his music royalty-free, so long as they credit him and include licensing and links, which is incredibly kind.

The weirdest DIY thing? Writing these blurbs in the third person... hello!
