This is the hugely popular South African (Afrikaans) TV music quiz show Noot vir Noot. This semifinal episode aired on SABC2 on 27 January 2001. It's the second of two programs in which I participated, and I won R4,250 in this episode. Sadly, I missed getting into the final round by a measly R50. My total prize-winnings of R25,250 was a huge sum back then, and it paid for a brand new fully-fitted kitchen during my house renovations. (Footnote: Playing along in the comfort of one's living room was one thing - being on set under those lights and in front of 6 cameras, playing for real money, was an altogether different matter!)
