First install video on the 350z guys! The VQ35DE found in the Z,V and G platforms are known for having a poorly designed plenum that doesn't supply enough airflow to feed the front cylinders. This is due to the air entering from the rear of the plenum and its downward slope that reduces volume of the plenum at the front cylinders. To fix this I'm using a 5/16" or 8mm plenum spacer from mace industries to increase the volume of the plenum to supply more air to the cylinders.

This is a very easy mod to do on these engines that only takes about an hour and for very little cost. There is plenty of variety from different brands that make their own plenum spacer from different materials and sizes that give different gains in power. If you're interested in doing this mod id do some research and find which best suits your application. Also, be aware that the strut bar in the 350z makes it very tight to fit a large spacer so make sure that there is room to fit it before purchasing.
