Why not brighten up your weekend with a visit to one of Peterborough's top attractions that you've probably either never been to or never heard of!!!! At just £4 entry for adults and £3 for children/concessions it's well within a family budget and won't break the bank.

Run totally by volunteers (and a grand job they do too) Railworld Wildlife Haven is located off Oundle Road next to the Nene Valley Railway Peterborough station. You can't miss it as it has an RTV displayed off the ground.

Now, BEFORE you think that this is a place just for train spotters, it's not! There's a lot of explore for kids, a bird trail and over 300 species of flora and fauna and yes there are a lot of train related elements but you'll enjoy that too I'm sure.

I took a look yesterday in the glorious sunshine to see what updates have happened over the past year or so - read our blog about the site (spoilers obviously) or just jump in and explore for yourself. It really is well worth the visit.
