Maruti Suzuki’s First EV ‘e Vitara’

Maruti Suzuki e Vitara will be launched in India around March 2025 and it will boast a driving range of over 500 km on a single charge Yesterday, Suzuki Global hosted the world premiere of its first electric vehicle christened the e Vitara in Milan, Italy. It will be introduced in India as early as March 2025, following its local debut at the 2025 Bharat Mobility Global Expo in January in New Delhi before hitting the international arena by the middle of next CY. The e Vitara means all business as it is not just a toned-down version of the eVX concept as the Japanese auto major has previewed its future design language with it. The smooth-flowing body panels blend well with the aggressive creases and lines as well as muscular fenders and prominent wheel arch claddings while the lighting signatures take heavy inspiration from the conceptual version. The five-seater midsize SUV will lock horns with the forthcoming Hyundai Creta EV, Honda Elevate EV and Citroen Basalt EV; the first Mahindra BE series model scheduled to debut on November 26, recently launched Tata Curvv EV, Mahindra XUV 400, top-end variants of the Tata Nexon EV and plenty others.
